OSHA Accepting Electronically Submitted Injury, Illness Reports Through December 31 The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will continue accepting 2016 OSHA Form 300A data through the Injury Tracking Application (ITA) until midnight on December 31, 2017. OSHA will not take enforcement action against those employers who submit their reports after the December 15, 2017, deadline but before December 31, 2017, final entry date. OSHA has extended the required electronic reporting of illness and injury records until December 15, 2018. Reporting requirements are based on size and industry type. Employers with more than 250 employees have to upload the 2016 OSHA 300, 300A, and 301s to the OSHA ITA – Injury Tracking Application – https://www.osha.gov/injuryreporting/index.html Employers with 10 – 249 employees in industries on the attached list must submit only the 300As from 2016.
